This is a simulation of an LED starfield based on logic I can implement on a PIC microcontroller.

There are a few parameters I can change. The Javascript simulation allows me to change them without having to modify a circuit. Do I just show the fader outputs? This is work in progress, and at the moment the javascript doesn’t seem to be reading the settings properly.
